It does what it says, but it isnt fullscreen on a high resolution macpro 15", it is bigger than photo booth so i do like that, but if you have a glossy screen you can turn the backlight off and it is really fullscreen.

Its not HD, its not FULLSCREEN. But it opens 3x faster than Photo Booth and its super slimplistic which is good.

Some other camera/mirror apps on the mac show the potential this app could have.

That alone gives this app a purpose. Needs the option to use the camera on a cinema display, not just the notebook.

Its okay, itd be better if a lighting tool was installed to help your face to appear better on the screen. Other, than that, its pretty much worthless.

Have you guys noticed that anybody who has written a positive review has only written one review on the entire app store?!? spread the word.

The image is distorted and is not full screen. Its free, and it should be, because its crappy.

Does exactly what it says it does, nothing else. Perfect for combing your hair, which is what I needed to do when I downloaded it.

I can think of some activities where a mirror that doesnt have the ability to record would make people more comfortable. So, if youd like a better look at how you look, or a 3rd person view of …,well, lets say you performance as you practice for that important speech, but want to be sure its not recorded, this is your app.

Really, I see this as better than Photo Booth because of the larger size and simplicity. My only complaint is that everything looks vertically streched. After all, it is FREE, and only occupies about 0.4 MB. I will admit that I deleted it, but only because I use an iMac and have a real mirror just across the hallway. If I owned a MacBook/Pro/Air, and the picture wasnt streched, I would keep it! Come on, people, its not THAT bad, and please, I have seen FAR worse cases of bad redundancy. ~ CDMoomaw

waste of space

...this application is the most useless Ive seen.

I have an HD iSight, but this just does the same low-res thing that the old PhotoBooth did on 10.6, which is take the HD camera signal and lower the resolutiond, while squishing the widescreen aspect into 4:3 ratio. a waste of the 4 clicks it took to download and install.

Hey u can get it if u want it, but I personally didn`t like it, because it made my head look wfunny shaped, and it wasn`t all that good of a view, it was very fuzzy not HD at all. and looking at it gave me a headache!!!!!!!!!!!! Also it did show yourself, but u didn`t see a second one of u!!!!!

Its not full screen AT ALL, photo both is bigger, its not HD, AT ALL, and has terrible graphics. I wouldnt waste your time downloading. Photo both is 1000x better and already there, not to mention not even for this use. AND ITS BETTER

Im running Snow Leopard and the app doesnt have a full screen mode. This was the only value it had to me, and the claims made in the listing are incorrect.

Yes, PhotoBooth can do everything this does and more, but it loads faster and takes up almost no space on the hard drive. Simple, but if thats what youre looking for, great for free.

Its a tiny app that loads faster than photobooth. It didnt go fullscreen for me so it only gets four stars. The screen is bigger than photobooth though. I think the people who gave it low ratings were expecting it to do something more than show a mirror image of what the camera sees. Its free, and tiny, relax.
