This software runs OK. However the presented image is not actually a mirror image (when you move to the left the image moves to the right, whereas, in a real mirror, you and the image should move towards the same side).

I have installed it and launch it once. There is some coolness about the ability to see you in the "mirror" but since you cannot capture the image and the application does not have any menu item apart from Close, I find it kind of useless. Maybe if it was really full screen (and not 1024x768), I wouldnt have trashed it.

For anyone wanting to grab the image they see, just hit COMMAND-SHIFT-4, tap your spacebar, and click your mouse when over the window and a snapshot will be saved of the image. Problem solved! To grab part of the image, dont tap the spacebar but instead use the mouse to click-drag a selection rectangle around the part of the image you want to capture.

As an upgrade, I would love to see two white panels on the sides to act as lights. Kind of like the makeup mirrors you see. The "lights" could be customizable with differents hues to represent different kind of lights. Just an idea!

This is one of those take-em or leave them sort of apps. It works fine, its free, but your use for it is limited. The screen size is NOT actual "full" screen. If it was, this app would be even better and would deserve 5 stars. I rate this with 3 stars because its OK and its file size is small enough to have hanging around in your computer, in case one day you have a use for it.

Its free and that may be the only reason i even considered... but with all due respect... Every Mac has PHOTO BOOTH! Only difference is just that the app has a bigger screen slightly with no menus... A really pointless app.

This is really quite pointless, may as well just use photobooth since they do the exact same thing, not HD at all

My I dont have much of a problem using this app except for when Im doing my hair it times out and my hands are all full of product and it gets all over the keyboard when I have to wake the screen every 5 mins and Im ot going to adjust the settings in my preferences just to change it back when Im not using it. It helps me out a lot when someone is in the washroom.

I just got this and it was way too bright, most of my face was white.

Just use iPhoto if you want to mirror a picture your taking with computer. When I installed this program it didn’t even work and even if it did I would still use iPhoto.

It is missinf full screen option of Lion and Mountain lion. In macbook pro also is not full screen (full screen would be 1440x900).

I dont know why everyone is hating so hard on this app! Its meant to just be a simple and innovative thing to have on our computer. Its nice because the screen is so much bigger than in photobooth, its an awesome idea for doing hair or checking out your outfit.

Yes PhotoBooth can do the same thing, but this gives us a larger view. Would love a full screen option. :). The entire application takes 462 kb. So its not even a waste of space. Less than a 5 second video recording.

If it were to be fullscreen i would give this app 5 stars! But, sadly, it is not fullscreen; the window is much larger than Photo Booth and is very siple! Untill it does what it claims (be fullscreen) i give it 3 starts!

This is a great app, if you use it right. If you want to take pictures or video, ya use photo booth, but if you just want to see whats going on this is great. I took one star off for calling it "Full screen". I use this app (along with some automater magic and what not) to use my webcam as a remote monitoring system. I have the output of the app put to a second virtual display that basically streams it to a website. I can then log in and watch my place from anywhere in the world with an internet connection. And its free!

This mirror is the absulute same thing as photo booth. LISTEN TO THE OTHER REVIEWS AND DONT DO WHAT I DID AND BUY THE STUPID APP!!!!!

Weak. It uses a fixed window size thats only slightly larger than Photo Booth, its still nowhere close to fullscreen on my high-res MBP. If this was actually full screen, Id be very pleased.

I got this app and I really like it! Even though it is a lot like PhotoBooth, it is better for using it as a mirror, and it is free! It is actually a great mirror! So stop complaining about the fact that it is almost exactly like PhotoBooth! It is a free app and I personally think that it is a better mirror than photobooth. I dont think theres anything wrong with it except for the fact that you have to have the right lighting or else it wont work well. Overall I really like it and I think its a good app!

This app does exactly what it claims to do. I dont know what all the people giving it really bad reviews were expecting - did you think this app could turn your screen into an ACTUAL mirror? Obviously anything that uses the webcam is going to be like Photo Booth, but this has a larger screen and loads much faster than Photo Booth does. Im satisfied with it, but I guess I just wasnt expecting a magic mirror from this FREE app like so many other reviewers obviously were.
